As we are coming up to the end of the new year I would like to thank each and every person who has been coming to Milsim, our regulars especially, thank you! Its been an amazing year and we have come a long way since our first mission back in April. Since I don't get as much time to post on the forums I thought I would go over the plan for January, so hear goes:
January 4th - TH11 - A Path Once Walked (Altis)
We return to Altis once more, the British government is looking to get involved in the Altis conflict, but since its been designated a civil war they cant with out UN approval. They are sending someone in called "O'Neil". Since they cant send troops in with him to keep him safe we will be escorting him though to the governors office for the meeting. We haven't been told the purpose of the meeting, but considering how much we are being paid for this they could be here to execute the pope and we would turn a blind eye. Insertion and extraction routes will be discussed on the morning of the operation, Intel suggests insurgency forces are aware of the meeting, expect heavy resistance.
January 11th - TH12 - Special Delivery (Isla Abramia)
ISIS forces have recently bombed targets in Johannesburg, Kampala and Düsseldorf, the casualties are now into the thousands. Tests run on bomb residue in Düsseldorf discovered they are using a compound called Picratol, an explosive created using Trinitrotoluene (TNT). Our employer, thornhill has intercepted communications and knows of a shipment of Pentaerythritol tetranitrate that will be coming in. The leak seems to have come from a man called Abd al Bari Halabi, a known drunk, it seems he sent a text to the wrong person with a little too much information on. We are currently unaware of the pick up location and "factory" drop off points, so we will need to wait outside his house in civvies and follow him to the collection and drop off points. After the targets have been acquired we will return to the FOB, kit up, and naturalise the threats. Picratol is not something your average terrorist can make, they have smart people working on this, they will be our primary targets.
January 18th - TH13 - A sin not forgiven (Chernarus)
After his kidnap General Gorbachyov has been very vocal about the lack of response from the Chenarus government in dealing with the "rebel scum". The rebels have been fighting the government over what they see as corrupt pro Russian puppets. If Im honest, I cant say they are wrong, its well known the Chernarus government is corrupt to the core but this country is a powder keg, I'm shocked we haven't seen all out war yet. With this in mind our somehow ever knowing employer has contacted with a mission. General Gorbachyov is about to take matters into his own hands, he is sending elite forces into Chernarus to eliminate the rebels, we need to stop him. Only issue is the rebels arn't too happy with us since we stopped them executing the General in the first place, so this will be a difficult mission to say the least.
January 25th - TH14 - Just a simple contract
We have won a contract with the British government to help stabilise the region of Kunduz, we will be going in as a preliminary force before we hire an additional 5 teams to take charge of looking after the area on a more permanent basis. New assets are on loan by H.M. Government to aid us in our task.
Im looking into the idea of expanding our QRF to 3 teams, as such Im looking at hiring the following positions:
Team Leader
Reserve Team Leader
Helicopter Pilot (Transport)
Reserve Helicopter Pilot (Transport)
Operators (Infantry)
