Microphone quiet

So today my headset broke, so i bought a new one (stealth 400), however when i speak people have told me i am now quiet, so i checked and this was how loud my microphone would go if i was to speak normally. It will not go past 1 bar, and i dont know how to increase the volume of my mic.

Right Click -> Properties -> Levels -> Microphone Boost (Put to +30.0dB) 

Advanced -> "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" Untick

Maybe that's why it's called a "stealth"
