Mic not working in game

...Another Q&A! Oh how I hate this.
I have a bit of an old microphone. It works in TS fine (a little quiet but at least it works) and then I go in game and no one can hear me but 'My lips are moving' xD

Is it set to be your default microphone in your settings? Not just in teamspeak.

Also check through steam settings, you also have to set the mic to default in there too

I played for 6 months without knowing arma was using my webcam mic in game. Eventually fixed it using steam settings as suggested.
