Yesterday my mic broke and im not sure why. The mic i have is the Sennheiser 363d. What has happened is my microphone cable between the HDMI and the headset get boiling hot and im not sure why. It has got one of the smallest tares in it, and im not sure how i can can fix it as it cost me a load of money and i have no money for a new mic. All i know trying to use it is not working. In the image to the right - http://prntscr.com/903z2f - that is the part of the cable that gets boiling hot the second it get plugged in.

Anyone got a clue?

DONT PLUG IT IN !!!

if it is out of warranty - Cut the end of the cable off and solder a new usb plug on it. Or replace the entire cable up to the cans.
If you keep plugging it in you are likely to damage either your USB socket or headset or burn the house down, Stop it.

Can't see much from the picture as it is very blurry.

Not sure if it will get repaired under warranty due to it being physical damage, but good luck.

Dont worry mate  , i realised to not plug it in straight away , i cant find anything online about warranty and neither find the separate part i needed :/

Separate part???? It's a usb cable. Just use another usb cable.

You will need to most likley have to solder the new cable inside the headset.
