MH9 helicoper dissapeared after taking damage

The deal is that yesterday, I was flying my helicopter around, and decided to land in a field where there were trees present. The helicopter was at an angle where it was slowly sliding down the hill, and I didn't think immediately to re-land somewhere more appropriate. When I decided to take off, the rotors hit the tree and the helicopter fell from a height of max. 5 meters. I died, and respawned, and drove to the helicopter in order to repair it, and I repaired it, and got into the helicopter, and it wouldn't start. I got out, repaired it again, and couldn't start it again, so I disconnected.

Next day, today, I came onto the server, went to the airport to get the helicopter, and it wasn't there. So I asked in OOC chat about it, and someone said that blown up vehicles respawn after the server restart, and crushed ones don't. The helicopter didn't blow up, it only got damaged to the point where it could be repaired with a toolkit.

I'd like to know if what I was told is true and if so, where is my helicopter. Some people mentioned in game that the half-sale is what bugs vehicles out, and someone had lost multiple trucks because of it.

If the case is that destroyed vehicles are supposed to respawn and it's just a bug, I'd like for it to be resolved.

If the case is that destroyed vehicles are gone, even though they might appear to be fine on the outside after repairs but be dead on the inside, then I'm fine with it.

I don't have any kind of proof, except that you can see a rapid drop in the money I had on my stats page in 1 day - I bought the MH9 and a Sports hatchback, spent 350k on both.

It's possible that someone came along, repaired it and then scrapped it, otherwise it would've reappeared in the garage after respawn

Personally I've never heard of vehicles bugging based on the half sale

If I'm being honest, I have somehow lost around 3 helicopters myself in around about a week span. One of which being crashed and fully blown up, and one of which being fully landed and intact before restart. So from a hummingbird, mh-9, orca, helicat I was left with 1 helicat, and had to rebut a hummingbird for general flying...

Matt, the helicopter was in the weed field, and there were trees everywhere, so taking off was probably unlikely, besides it wouldn't start no matter how many times it would've been repaired.

If it was truly scrapped then my bad for leaving it.

My guess would be that the fuel leaked out of it when it crashed, then when you repaired it it had no fuel so it wouldn't start, someone came along with a fuel can then went and scrapped it.

You have to think about someone could have knocked down the trees around the helicopter and therefore it would be safe to take-off again and then proceed to scrap it, if that's the case unfortunately you won't be able to get compensation!
