Recently for some reason I have been receiving either memory could not be read or written.

I can join and play on any servers fine but when I join RPUK servers it just says that.

Specs

GTX 970M

i7-5700HQ @ 2.70hertz

16 RAM

64 bit, Windows 8.1

Oh yes it is, the problem was too much program was running and memory was being used too much, after closing and uninstalling a couple programs, the problem was solved.
