May a bounty hunter join a police patrol?

My question is if a bounty hunter may join police patrols and use their external communication (ts) as a liason? This would improve rollplay and add more content for bounty hunters (me included) who like to assist the police force. Ofcourse the officer you're joining on a patrol will have the lead in what will and can be done.

I will say this any member of the community can have a ride along, but the point of a bounty hunter is to go and fetch the criminals and bring them to the police, if we already catch the criminal their is no job to do for a bounty hunter, so you can get a ride allong but not to gain money from bounties

Police do not work with anyone. They only work with other policeofficers. If you want to become an assistant to the police, join the police.
