hey people, i just want to ask some questions regarding getting shot in a gunfight. Sometimes it just so happens that i get shot and while im down a medic comes and revives me. Even though it says in chat ''The Wolf was killed by john doe'' and the NLR timer begins am i free to get revived and continue the fight? 

I would say that since i have been shot i can just get up pull out my pistol and shoot without having to initiate or anything like that.

 
Well there shouldn't be anyone to shoot because the medic can only revive you once the firefight has stopped, which in turn would mean that you would have to roleplay with the medics, therefore meaning you definitely need to re-initiate roleplay before even considering pulling the trigger.

roleplay>gunfight>death>waiting for medic>revived>roleplay with medic>go roleplay some more with other player>initate>firefight>rinse and repeat

Well yes that's most of the time the gunfight is over and the medic comes and we roleplay but there are occasions where the medic revives me and the gunfight is still ongoing just perhaps it has moved 100-200 meters away, Admittedly it does not happen often but there are instances of it. Medic has revived me and is safe to do so but my gang are still fighting and if im roleplaying as a rebel who got shot and survived and my gang (friends) are in danger still since i haven't lost my memory i think it makes sense for my character to get up and fight.

And in roleplay taking a bullet to whichever body part makes you able to fight in combat accurately and effectively? (just a statement)

If you have been revived and the gunfight is still on-going VERY close by then that medic was at fault and you should NOT have been revived. I would suggest NOT joining back into that gunfight.

Well if the medics are not allowed to revive me unless they hear no gunshots firing in the distance i think that's harsh as he could just be a guy passionate about his job i know they are not trained military medics but still :p

But if indeed it is the case on this server that a medic is at fault for reviving me i shall abide by the rules and not return to the gunfight but forgive me if i dont report the medic as he deserves respect for risking his life :p

Combat reviving is somethign that's not welcome here for many reasons which I think are fairly obvious.. However it's good to see that you acknowledge the fact that this rule is in place :)

 
Well yea when you put it like that ''combat reviving'' it would be annoying if i was on the receiving end of it where i shoot a guy and see him die and 2 mins later he gets up and caps me in the ass :D well thanks for the quick response :)
