I think adding a mailbox to the options with your third eye to the front of peoples owned houses would be beneficial, Being able to leave notes the owners perhaps offers to buy the house or just simple messages, maybe even a small deposit box.

Pros: Allows people to send mail and messages to other houses/neighbours

Cons: People mailbox could get full with messages

Balance of server: I dont believe so

Dev work: I believe Little

could also make new job of of postman/postwomen where if you dont wanna get caught sending you can put in a post box and postman/postwoman picks up and delivers

+1 so many houses id like to contact about buying but its impossible to do so or find out who own's the house to contact them (yes i've tried tweedle). Would also add some fun to the city with leaving advertisements etc.
