What was lost: Orca (Black) - even though it's not really black... :s

 

Value of item/money lost: £1,000,199 i believe?

Quick description of what happened: Crashed during changeover to perm. destroyed vehicles

Longer description: So, just as you did the changeover to make vehicles be permanently destroyed, I managed to crash my Orca while looking at a map (yeah, foolishly enough).

I did not receive the message that vehicles would be lost when crashed until after it had happened, when I got that message I was realizing that I had just lost £1,000,000 :(

Not sure if this is a valid enough complaint, but it's worth a shot..

 
What wait so if I crash my prize Mohawk it wont be available at the next server restart it is gone forever?

 
Did they also remove the MK18? Since I had one and now spanwed without....

I have also heard about that, but there was no indication they were actually removing it this quick without a headsup.

If the weapon is actually removed from the game and it's not a bug im experiencing, then i would like a refund of the gun+scope, IR light and 4 mags. This sums up to about 100k.

Can we have an admin respond to this please?

For the elimination of any WILD SPECULATION, I cite this line from the fn_WeaponShopCfg.sqf file that resides in the mission to this very day, hour and second:

["srifle_EBR_F",nil,75000],

That's the Mk18, still available to tier 3 donators. There are no plans (as yet) to remove it, though I believe the cops may be looking to try and make it illegal (in RP terms) to run round cities carrying it in view of the general public whilst casually nipping into Starbucks (or the laundrette).

Now - back to the Original Plaintiff's initial request. Yes, you can have the money for your Orca back, as I promised on the server that day, while we ran the first few 'vehicle-death-possible' tests (which have coincidentally been shelved while we debug the datacore, but which *may* possibly return, depending on a number of factors).

However, you got the price of the Mohawk there, mate - not the Orca! The Orca is:

["O_Heli_Light_02_unarmed_F",750000]

(cheaper from Donator shops, but since you aren't one, you will have paid full whack).

So, herewith, £750,000 back into your bank-account today. Next...
