Looking For A New Headset

Okay, so I will start off with what I am using now, some apple ear puds combined with a blue snowball, the reason I do not use headphone is because I find most of them to be uncomfortable after long periods of time, the reason I am looking for a headset is I am finding the snowball really hard to record desent sound with because to get a good quality recording I have to sit the thing inches away from my face, and that is annoying when trying to play games whilst commentating, so what I am looking for is a headset with a really good microphone. I have done some looking online and come across the AT BPHS1 and have seen many good articles about the headset, just wondering if any of you know about this headset or maybe has one, if not I am open to suggestions. Thanks.

Logitech G930 I would personally recommend, Never had an issue with mine although I have heard differing accounts on the longevity, Although personally I put it down to them treating their headset like a Neanderthal @CMO Marc Smith;)

That said, everybody who has used them agree that they have great quality.

I have to recommend the Astro A40's they are just amazing! Me, @CMO Marc Smith & @CMO LharmonBoth got them too.
A40's are good so far, although recent firmware issues are being very annoying causing my Mixamp to crash all the time xD Switching to USB2 seemed to help a bit, but it still happens sometimes.

G930's are still a decent headset... the only problem I've had with them is the charging cable does the same thing that every other crappy micro usb cable does with excessive use, and the pins holding it in come loose, causing a loose connection. If this happens to the G930's, it likes to do a reset loop... over and over again xD

The only other issue I had was the arm connecting the left ear cup to the headband snapped, which from what I researched when it happened, is a common issue. Luckily, somewhere like Amazon will happily replace them free of charge for an issue like this though.

Of course, these recommendations are only good for gaming. For high quality audio with decent mids, you'll probably want something like a decent pair of sennheiser headphones.

How about the sennheiser g4me one? Great headset for gaming and music. Open design, noice cancelling mic and more.

I'll quote on logitec's G930!

Ive used it for various types of games, and with its 7:1 sound effect, its crazy!

I was also afraid of the microphone, but always when I take it off me, I "bend" the microphone to its (mute) position, pointing up, this prevents it for breaking if it falls down of my table, or I put something ontop of it.

I'll give the G930 10/10!
