Legal vehicle trunk emptied when the police impounded the vehicle

Hi. I was playing and doing a diamondrun. Right before i reached the diamond shop, i met some cops. We had a nice chat and the cops noticed that i had been drug traffiking some time ago. They checked my truck which at the moment only contained a pickaxe, some tea, and a bunch of cut diamonds. I payd the tickket but when i got back to a garage to retrieve my truck again the trunk was empty. Almost an hour's work gone to waste. Is this a bug or do even legal trunks get emptied during an impound?

Hello, When you have any legal items in the trunk you need to click (Sync) at the bottom corner. This will save the legal items inside the truck.

Hi Stuart, the same happened to me. I had landed my blackfish at the airport (synced Trunk 5 mins prior) and there was a police situation. They impounded my blackfish and when I went to pull it out again the trunk was empty (had 1.2 mil worth of refined salt in it).

I honestly dont know. There wasnt anything illegal in the trunk. I had a valid drivers license and i am the owner of the vehicle. Doesnt make much sense to me.

You said why. They pulled you over as you were wanted for drug trafficking and you were lucky they didn't scrapped your truck. It depens on which cop you caught. Last time they got me for drug trafficking i got only 15k ticket as i RPed from it.
