Hi all, over the last while i've been getting a lot of lag only on the server, SP is fine. Whilst my setup isn't the greatest of all time it should get me some reasonable FPS. Unfortunetly it hasn't on occassions and someone said if I change my launcher parameters it would help. So, would someone give some advise on which parameters to put in and just some general advise

Thanks :D

Yeah, I average around 40 on server 2 but on 1 it goes to about 15...

I've tried to get more FPS by changing launch parameters as well. Didn't turn out to be working. The max FPS boost you get is about 2 by changing launch parameters. The best thing is to change your graphic settings. (set view distance lower etc...).

You could also do some other tricks to increase your FPS. Read this guide on steam: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=385577681

Cheers guys,

Thing is Droge, unless im in a heli im on standard with 1k view and less on objects...

I'll give the guide a read

1st piece of advice...turn shadows of if you have them, it's an FPS killer!

As for the launcher, I have specified two things in the Advanced Parameters, I have enabled Hyper-Threading and also manually added my CPU Count to make sure it is using them all instead of just one or two as it see's fit.

Hope this helps!

I'll give it a go!

I would also recommend capping you FPS so you don't get big spikes when driving around. You can do this with MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner Statistics Server. It gives much smoother gameplay and well worth the time looking at.

With the settings I have, I cap my overall FPS to 30 as I know that it won't drop below 25. This means that the total frame drop is only 5 at most which is much better and less noticeable than having drops from say 40 or 50 FPS. Like I said, it's well worth the time setting it up as I think we can all agree that a smooth gameplay experience is better than a stuttery one.
