Landing Permission

I wanted to land my helicopter in Kavala but ma request was denied, what conditions do i need to fulfill to be able to land there?

You can't land IN Kavala. Try land out of the city limits. Or just send a message saying you have a mortally wounded person aboard and you need to use the hospital heli pad;P

How safe is it in that case to leave the helicopter alone without the protection from the theft?

to be fair IMO the police are far to fast to deny landing on day i RPed that i had just hand a electial fault and need to land as my lights and so forth were frailing there responce was denied we are to busy. The need to lighten up a bit if civs wanna RP and they point plank  refuse it, This spoils that RP

Be very careful when trying to RP with police.

You will be met with a hail of bullets and your helicopters will be sent to the crusher even if the reason is failing collision lights irrelevant of any electrical faults or other valid RP reasoning.

much buthurt? Not really a constructive addition to this topic. Roleplay with the police is more than possible. As long as you use your imagination, stay calm, dont fall out of character. What most people forget when they flame at the cops for ''bad rp'' is that they probably jumped out of character to swear at the cops for pulling them over in the first place, probably said they metagamed blabla.. Yeah ofc you'll get the bad end of their stick if that is your attitude. But as long as you go along, play nice, make up a GOOD story.. you can get away with lots of things. Coke? No man, baking powder, my nephew got a bakery in Kavala.. I see on your dashboard you bought your donuts there today man, you really gonna take my baking powder? Think about it man, no more donuts tomorrow if you do!... Making that up on the spot, if you put some effort into it you'll get away with it.

As for scrapping a heli for not having collision lights.. bullshit. If you landed and explained your error, blame it on some scumbag mechanic from Paros who did a shit job, he said they would work again for at least 6 months after what he did and damn he wasnt cheap.., then they wouldn't scrap it.. But yeah if you go shouting and flaming towards the cops saying they are shit because they told you to land or shot at you blabla.. (they CAN shoot at you, its in the rules, when you fly over the city).

Basicly, with the police, a RP interaction has one standard rule:

You will get back the behaviour you give them.

I think the police is doing a great job. Even gave me an escort when I had to go buy some barrels the other day :)

I'm only a PCSO, but if someone were to RP request an emergency landing I would authorise it unless told otherwise. But I guess there's good reasons for keeping the city chopper free. As previously said its pretty easy to RP yourself out of trouble with the police. If you manage to push the RP into a direction that helps you I can't steer it away we just have to roll with it. The keyboard is mightier than the MK20!

I admire your willingness to jump in and defend the cause but the fact that you assume everything else in your statements voids it all and makes you look quite stupid. The fact that no illegal activity or rule breaking was taking place and everything was RP'd perfectly without anyone from the rebel side losing the plot or being rude (only one person present and interacting in a very calm and respectable manner up to the point the heli was crushed).  This is all recorded btw.

I keep saying I will not get involved in forum bitching but now we are all forced to name and shame each and every person irrelevant of rank abusing their power or breaking rules, so it will be exactly that.  At first I've had conversations with police and have only submitted to police so they can sort out their own mess but, no one gives a toss.  So I will only furnish clear and concise evidence here on the forums so people like you can see it. Trust me, you will not continue writing the bull you have written above. And believe me when I say, you do not need to teach me how to RP.

To those police that are RP'ing properly, I don't need to name you all but you know who you are and hats off to you as I along with my team have thoroughly enjoyed each and every encounter.

PS. if you want to have a mature conversation about why people are 'buthurt' as you put it, jump on teamspeak.

Landing requests in Kavala will be denied unless it is an engine failure, medical emergency or someone has allowed you permission to land for whatever reason.

However if you are seen breaking aviation law then it is more than likely your request will be denied.

I once as a rebel learned the police a lesson, i asked for permission to crash land in athira due to technical issues, and dropping attitude, permission was denied to i had to land the "badly" damaged chopper, wherever i could, and i can say that the police was not satisfied with a chopper crash landing in thier HQ :D , i explained the story and was told that i had permission to crash land by another officer, there was just no communication, and we got the heli fixed, refueled, and i was good to take off within the Police HQ

The thing is, helicopters landing in cities MAJORLY ruin the RP for the players on the ground because they cant hear anything.
Normally you can only land at one of the four airfields in Altis:

-National airfield
-North airfield
-PRNA airfield
-West of the national airfield there is a little airstrip

Its just the noise of the helicopters that is really annoying, and yes even with earplugs. But for emergencies, SI Bob got it all right.
I hope you guys understand that we deny landings.
