Rules Broken: 1D) An admin may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues.
17B) Abuse/swearing or unpleasant behavior towards the Admin team is not acceptable (Punishment is a community ban without appeal)
(The reason this appeal has taken this long is because of this rule. I've finally been persuaded by CI Liquid while bumping into each other on a KOTH server today).
My final chance: It's been a long time since I was banned. No doubt this post will gain some attraction, so I'll do my best to keep it as brief as possible but to provide you with enough description as to why I'm requesting an unban.
PLF was my love child. I loved everything about it and to say that I was a leader in such a gang meant a lot to me after all that credit I had received about that gang, some negative, most of it was great. During the end of my time here, a member of PLF did (and I wouldn't have admitted this at the time) something wrong. He posted information which was passed on by an existing member of this community who had access to the police forums and that information was made public. I won't name anyone, I like history to sleep.
During this time another admin of this community used some strong words against one of my members, including exploiting, something I'm deeply against and I lost temper with this, causing a bit of a public show on the forums. I'd reached a bad point and as an adult and an in-game admin, should have known better - this did of course result in my rank being stripped from the server team. Shortly after I posted (as clean as I possibly could) the reason that I'm no longer an admin, this gained a lot of attention in a very short amount of time and the public out reach was quite over whelming, over the next few I received a lot of messages of support (this later on became my inspiration to post this unban request). Even further to the end of my time here, I recall Wilco posting on the topic that I've lied and edited that post, to this day I will still deny any editing or lying on that post, I've been called many things in my life (many of them, I'll never exactly understand) but being called a liar is something I do not wish to be related too. I lost my temper, I posted unsavory things regarding certain members of the admin team. The thread was swiftly taken down and I was given one last chance to redeem myself, say my apologies and live a quiet life in Athira or to leave.
My pride in one hand, my gang in the other - I took the later and decided it was a better decision.
Now, a few months down the line, I've realised that things always change. As the older, maturer members of PLF moved onto new adventures and the younger members with little to no ambition or drive stepped up, I was ousted from the gang for attempting to make changes to the gang for the better. No doubt some of you have heard rumours regarding a new adventure we stepped on and some more rumours about some serious allegations. I'm willing to admit all here, not that it's interesting at all. Yes, we did attempt to make a new server. I went on holiday for a week to find it scrapped thanks to two individuals who had no ambition to search for fixes. No, we did not in any attempt, way or form take Wilco to a law suit (Srsly, I have no idea where this one came from? What on earth would I get out of it? This man banned me, please imprison him?!) and No, we did not intend to steal members of the community. We had a lot of people show support and we did offer them the chance to look at the server, but I believe people have a right to decide where and how they would like to play.
The reason I'm asking for this ban, is that I've lost something that gave me hours of enjoyment (approx. 1100 hours), a server where I enjoyed the little night light RDM's and crazy French lunatics. I miss the dusty Indian summer nights in Athira and most of all, I miss the community. I'm not interested in becoming a leader of a gang, I'm certainly not interested in becoming a member of staff, I'm just interested into getting back into an RP server and enjoying my time there again. I have no communication to any member of PLF besides one, who has no contact with anyone from PLF any more anyway! I've realised that those who I once called friends getting a better kick from the word 'Salty', than they do keeping a group of friends together. I feel foolish for what I've done and I wish to make amends for that. My full apologies for the drama I caused here, the insults that were dealt and trouble I had caused, this community really is one of a kind.
