Kicked from the game?

Right so i was talking away with a person i just met. and asked them if they had team speak and they said no so i said discord and they said yes. I sent them a discord link using // for them to join so we could talk to each other etc. and then this happened. I didn't know sharing a link to be able to talk to a person was concidered advertising. It's not like i'm trying to advertise the discord. I realise now i should have sent it though the phone.

and when i try to join the server i can't join. How long does this kick last?

You've been banned for advertising. All bans are considered permanent but you are able to appeal.

fill that form fully and honestly and they'll take a look at it.

edit: dont pm any Staff about bans or ban appeals as the user above suggested. That's terrible advice and will only get you in more bother.

You broke Rule 10 on advertising - it says no appeal, but it's at staff discretion so you might be alright

Have a read through the rest and just redouble your knowledge of them, as a new player it's easy to fall afoul of them as there is quite a few, but it makes this community the best it is.

As another aside, when you submitted your appeal you will have ticked a box saying you understand the terms of the ban appeal, make sure you do actually read those and dont jsut blindly tick the box, that way you wont accidentally bump your appeal and you'll see the bit about not contacting staff about bans.
