Joining the server

How do i actually join the Altis life UK server?? Do I need to Download any content? If so where do I do that?

No content or mods are needed to play our servers, there is a mod pack which re skins some weapons, but you don't need it to play, all you need to do is search altislife.co.uk in the server search bar on arma and our dedicated servers will show up!

Nope! Just an optional extra for some reskins and such. Be sure to read the rules before joining

I've got a problem. Whenever i go to join the server a message appears saying your player name is not allowed to play on this server. What does this mean ?

Only thing I can think of is that you're not running the latest version of the Arma3 client.

Or you've turned off battleeye....

It sounds like your player name is not allowed on the server. In arma 3 there should be a Profile Screen that lets you set up your player. Try just using a different name.
