Hello.
I am a 19 year old man, soon turning 20, who would like to play some more Altis Life after a long break. In the past I have been playing on some of the largest European servers as a civilian, criminal and police officer. However, many of these servers turned into major RDM/killspree servers with little to none RP. Then, after a long period of abscense and research, I finally stumbled upon this server. I have gotten to understand that this server is perhaps one of the few who still value decent RP.

There is just one thing I am wondering about. Is it possible to become a police officer without having to play as a civilian for weeks, if not months? I would really like to play some more Altis Life, but as a student it can be hard to find time to play as often as I would like to. And since I have grown quite tired of being a civilian or criminal, being a police officer is one of the few roles I would enjoy role-playing as.

I hope somebody will take their time to answer my questions or perhaps give me some tips on how to become a police officer. Thanks in advance! :)

 
Hey,

Nice to see you're interested in joining, I see you haven't put in a recent application. Just make sure you fill out every section to specification of the questions (100 word minimums etc.). Make sure you put in the effort and it will pay off in the end.

Just one more question. As a police officer on your servers, can you decide for yourself who you want to go on patrol with? The reason why I'm asking is because some of my friends are also thinking about applying  and it would have been fun if we would be able to patrol together sometimes. I understand that we may have to patrol with experienced police officers in the beginning to learn the ropes and such, if we were to be accepted. However, I wonder if this is something you can decide more freely once you have passed the initial stages of becoming an officer?

When you get the the rank of PC (first rank after training ranks) you can go on patrol on your own, or with people you want to patrol with. Until then it may be hard to patrol with friends as you have to join a higher ranks patrol, but it's possible.
