3B) RDM - Random Death Match Definition:

Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban)

Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance:

I have had a number of reports in the past and all were struck down as a result of misunderstanding, as was my friend Shiny, due to our friend at the time Revolution having (lots of) bad moments (not to mention saved on many occasions due to us recording). We no longer are associated with him and as I record nearly all the time these days, should further moments of question arise I will have the video available for it.

Furthermore, as was stated in my ban topic, I was acting on the shoot instruction of Revolution who was nearer the car and supposedly giving RP instructions to the police. I was too far away at the time to verify this. The report was also filed several days later rather than immediately meaning I didn't have the clip any longer from my own recording to prove this as I have with many other cases where reports were filed in a timely manner.

Finally, we have done lots of RP during the time on the server, I feel I would not have been taken on as a medic at the time if I wasn't a decent RP'er. Myself and Shiny plan on coming back and continuing our RP without some of the others that caused problems last time. On the whole I would hope this isolated incident, combined with me recording all the time, would justify another chance and make clear any future disputes (provided they are reported within a reasonable time frame).

Are you sure you want to use that awfull, terrible attempt at ''roleplay'' to get unbanned?

Let me quickly describe what happens in this video, as I was on the recieving end of this persons idea of good roleplay

- Me and some strangers meet up at the Pyrgos heliport and we have some nice fun there. We decide to do a ass race to see who reaches the other side quickest. Before that we were doing a human centipede, all in good spirit and having a laugh.

Then this person, or his friend, comes up to us, dressed as a hobo. He said we all were being robbed, but there was 5+ of us so we though: sure hobo.. whatever. One of us says; FIRING SQUAD! As we felt the hobo was issueing lame threats.

Turned out he wasnt. We all got sprayed from the hillside when we didnt comply.

Now, one can say: This is roleplay, you got the chance to surrender

I disagree, and here is why:

The hobo admitted in sidechat he went in there, carrying nothing of value, because he knew he was going to die. He knew we weren't going to comply with him, that was probably even what they wanted, so they had a reason to spray us all from the hillside. So basicly, someone went to a group of fully armed guys, expecting to die, threathening them, only so his friend could have some ''fun'' killing people.

On the topic on the forum, which wasn't a report, just me showing this pathetic excuse for RP to the community, the person even said:

''I've actually spoken to some of the admins in the past few days about this video, some of which said they actually enjoyed it. As I'm not banned and they didn't say it was RDM, I guess it was just fine and we have a lot of butthurt going around right now.''

Which is probably a downright lie. You wasn't banned because no one reported it, it was posted in the screenshots and videos as a warning to the community of how utterly retarded your roleplay is.

His friend, ofc not something we should judge him for, but we can obviously conclude that if this is the sort of people you play with, combined with your own actions and statements, you would not be much better, said this:

''Ah nothing like making little kids cry, always makes my day. I knew this would happen waaaa i lost my gear waaaaaaa.  Please keep feeding me your tears.''

Now, with the new way this community has turned in to, with stricter rules, better roleplay and most important: No more drama allowed.. I would advice the adminteam to consider this unbanrequest VERY carefully. I do believe that people can change for the better and deserve a new chance, but the fact that the banned player uses THIS video, the one that made me write all this, as evidence as to why he should be unbanned, says to me that he still has a vision on Roleplay that does not match this communities.

Again, that was Revolution, neither myself or Shiny were a part of that. I can't recall what exactly it was Revolution was saying, but either way it was a contributing reason myself and Shiny have went in another direction (on top of the reports not just here, but on a few games that we have had resulting in them group banning us and it was frankly very annoying given only 1 person was causing 99% of it). I did send a way of apology following that incident which was some weeks prior to the ban:

Call it bad conscience about the incident, I know some will see it as bribing or whatever, but frankly I would doubt anyone would realistically think a bribe works. I did on a few occassions report a few money loopholes and whatnot to Ciaran whereas I could have exploited them also - minor but nonetheless I wish to highlight as part of my appeal that I am of good character who perhaps hung around with one or two bad apples earlier on who are now removed.

The ban was several months ago, 8th September was the date enacted on the forum. No appeal was launched at the time of the ban due to our character Revolution racking up too many reports and generally our group was seen as a hot-issue, so we'd take him elsewhere to allow things to cool for a while rather than also risk Shiny getting caught up in a ban too. We stick up for our group as much as we can and give them the benefit of a doubt, but nobody is beyond being removed, including myself, from that group.

The above was likely bad roleplay that much I agree with, but sometimes you do need to take your foot off the pedal a little and make fun of a moment, as long as it doesn't utterly destroy roleplay. High risk operation with possibly of huge rewards, it was a gamble and wasn't as clean as we thought it would go unfortunately. The purpose of my video inclusions is to show we have more than just cleanly done executions, but that our intention is to try things most people wouldn't. Sure we might be on the edge of what is allowed sometimes back then, but if you aren't enjoying yourself I can't see why anyone is here.

"Which is probably a downright lie." - Actually no, the statement was from Wilco on a Steam chat we had. I didn't mention the name prior to this simply to keep him removed from having an opinion on a perhaps contraversial moment since I don't speak for him, and afterall it was a private chat. But if it becomes a matter of fact issue regarding my appeal then I'll go on the record with it.

Generally we had very little RP prior to joining this server, it is hard to unless everyone else joins in too, so we learned plenty whilst here. Now we have been gone a while, I do feel like we miss this place and that we can continue improving our game.

tl;dr The video as standalone evidence is pretty case closed as a blatant RDM, I do not dispute that. I am disputing firstly the delay in the report being made and video produced. Secondly that it may have been prejudiced by the issues one of our ex-associates raised. And I suppose the gravarman of my case is that I am asking for a second chance now we've made some changes. If my appeal was accepted, I would again donate to the server - this is nothing to do with bribing, but more to illustrate my point I wouldn't waste a donation if my intention was simply to return to cause problems and risk being banned again.

@Cthulhu Fair enough, your explanation is good enough for me. I believe people can turn over a new leaf and everyone has a right for a second chance . I hope with everything something like this won't ever happen again to anyone, every situation is better with good roleplay, that is after all why we should be here, on a roleplay community

Still don't understand why you would put that video up yourself, but at least you are a honest man and show the wrongs you've done yourself, saves someone else the trouble to bring it up xD. Good luck on the appeal and if you get unbanned, have fun in the game and #RPeverything
