Jail/Bounty mechanics

Hi all, relatively new player to the game here. I just have some questions regarding the mechanics once you have a bounty as I am yet to be arrested with one. I know you have the choice to pay in the form of a fine or go to jail.

If you do choose jail, what happens? Do you have to pay any portion of your bounty or is your punishment purely in the form of time in jail. Do you get automatically teleported to jail or is there a prisoner transfer system?

Also what is the timescale for being in jail. I am assuming that there is more time added for more serious time e.g. murder over something less so such as robbery but what kind of time is generally handed out? What kind of sentences could I expect for various crimes?

When you are being sent to jail it won't cost you anything, however you will lose all of your illegal items. (such as guns)

You will first get brought to the police station and from there teleported to jail. I believe jail time is always 15 minutes.

Btw, you can always try to roleplay your way out of it :)

You don't pay anything and you get automatically transferred. However you do lose all items except your backpack. Jailtime does depend on the scale of your crime and is usually around 5-15 minutes.

15 minutes no matter what is the maximum time you can be in jail. If you've been particularly naughty you will be sent to jail without the chance to pay a ticket (this is rare and obviously dependant on what you've done and if you RP/come in willingly.)

Going to jail will not cost you anything however you can get tickets of up to a maximum of £100,000 to avoid jail, you will have 3 chances to pay the ticket and if you fail to pay the third and final time you are fed and watered and sent to jail.

You'll be taken to a Police station, processed and then teleported to jail from there. We do have prisoner transport buses however they are rarely used.

If your bounty is under 100k you can either pay the ticket, or refuse and go to prison. I believe its 10 minutes jail time.

If your bounty is over 100k, you can try to roleplay it out and maybe you will get a ticket. But if you get sent to prison, jail time is 15 minutes.

If you disconect while you are in jail, when you log back on your jail time will be 20 minutes.

When you are in prison, before you can pay bail you have to wait 5 minutes of your jail time. While waiting,you can process planks into logs and reduce your bail price. However, if you wait for the full time to run out, you dont need to pay anything.

Everytime you get sent to prison, you loose everything except your NVG's and backpack (if you had any of those when you got sent to prison)

 
That's great thanks. In terms of RPing my way out of it, of course, haha. I wouldn't go down willingly without at least trying some cock and bull story. Max 15 mins ish isn't as bad as I thought though.
