VDM- When a player kills you with a vehicle for no reason in a game of role play.
What is considered VDM?
-Running people over with a vehicle for "fun"
-Running people over with a vehicle in order to collect weapons,money or items.Incentive of profit or gain is no excuse. This typically happens near ATMs,be wary of passing vehicles.
-Running someone over simply because you do not like them.
-Ramming a vehicle into another vehicle to make it explode.
What isn't considered VDM?
-Not killing someone with a vehicle. There is no exception to killing someone on the server with a vehicle. get out and shoot them if you want them to die.
Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance:
I'd like to mention that I'm new to this server, community and ArmA franchise in general really. I logged in and my crew members informed me that they had set up a road block some where outside of Kavala, I met up with them and helped the general activities stopping people and then letting them go for a small gracious fee, during this time another player with a rifle came onto the scene and opened fire to which we then returned fire. I then got into one of the vehicles we had and was told by my fellow gang member Andrew to go and run him over while he was trying to escape, I assumed because we where engaged in combat during a life threatening scenario (heart pumping), running some one over was allowed, coming from Asylum servers and other low quality servers I didn't realize the correct server rule of VDM that applied to Altis Life UK, I was slightly confused by how it it was worded.. but now I understand, I made a stupid mistake and I'm sorry for it and to the fellow role-player who I ran over in my vehicle and would hope to have a better confrontation with him next time, long story short I'm basically saying sorry and that I've learnt the rule and won't break it again if given a second chance, please consider my appeal I would appreciate continuing my endeavours into this community role-playing alongside your friendly rebel scum, Moon Runners.
