I've never really looked into rust.

Seeing all of these screenshots and what not I was thinking about buying the game Rust. But I have no clue what its about. Could someone give me a little run through about what goes on? Thought I'd get an opinion from a community that seem's to play it quite a lot.

Gather resources, Survive, Build your house/base... fend off other players... raid other players

You make it what you want! its a very open world and open play.... but i warn you now people are nasty.... and playing it for nearly 500 hours now i am nasty!... that's the only way to survive sometimes.
