Recently on the 29/1/2015 not long after the midnight restart the server was shut down without any single warning at all to the players (including me) on the server to sync as the server was shut down, someone has just instantly shut it down therefore causing the people to lose all the progress they made and if you get where I'm coming from for a players perspective, that is pretty fucking annoying and will piss people off...
As you have probably seen there has been posts from people complaining about it, I'm not looking for any compensation as I got my money back but it's the sheer fact that stuff like that can make people lose 2 hours of progress just like that because someone has decided to shut down the server because it's only got 40+ people on it, that's just an utter complete waste of their time and it's a bad thing for the community because people will then be like 'ah fuck this server if it's doing shit like that' and will easily go join another server.
What I did was I joined server 1 and asked on side chat if I could speak to an admin in person on comms but all I got was 'forums' bla bla when I said It's a serious matter that needs dealt with on comms so I asked for you specifically Wilco and then vacatio kicked me, I did rejoin and ask why he kicked me because I was asking for an admins help, which they should be able to attend to and then I got hit with a ban, we then did talk on teamspeak about it and I did say to him that the admins need to have a meeting to sort the server issues out but he said to post it here.
So I'm suggesting a meeting on teamspeak at some point to discuss the server issues because since you have increased the slots to 130-140 everytime the servers get busy like that it just causes a lot more lag and de-sync than last time with a lot more posts on the forums for things like vdm, rdm, de-sync explosions etc therefore losing even more players to problems like that when really there should be less of it.
Tbh I would like my ban to be removed because I do enjoy playing on the server and having fun on it but see when stuff like that happens, it just totally kills the joy of playing on the server and it's a waste of time if your doing important stuff and it's all of a sudden gone because someone didn't warn the players on the server to sync before the server was shutdown. But if you don't want to lift my ban that is fair by me, as long as my point has came across as to why I was really pissed off when the server was shutdown without warning.
