is my pc broken?

More informations please (PC spec/ OS etc)

Can you start up or does it do this when Windows loads?

 
No idea why you have that folder configuration but the zip file could be corrupt

Try re-downloading it in your normal downloads folder

 
Smacks of malware, have you run an AV scan and MalwareByte Anti Malware? I dont have that folder under the same directory. It could be a pice of malware that's designed to appear in all user profiles or something like that. 

When did it start occuurring?

it started occuring when i got this arma 3 mod and it kept giving me svsvsvsvsvsvsv after all of my files my pc got slow then its starts changing my fonts colours and giving me errors about my internet security when opening files aswell as that error code everytime i open stuff, i also have a thing where my pc logs on as different profiles that i havent created telling me to contact my admin, its my pc. my desktop font and everything changes each time i log on and i have no clue what it is. could u recommend something to clean my pc? i also get proxy problems on the internet when searching it says error i have to refresh 5+ times

Sounds like some malware has got pretty deep into your user account. I would suggest creating a new user profile alongside your current one to see if that profile runs correctly. Run malwarebytes or some other anti-virus/malware software and clear off any issues. It is reasonably likely that it has changed the names of various directories so that windows can't find your files anymore. Because of this, it may not be possible to fix the problem with a simple virus scan and you may need to return your PC to factory settings and start from scratch.

I have an idea of something I can try but it would probably require me jumping on a remote session using teamviewer and having a go myself. If I get beaten to it by Lionel/Zeito then fair enough but I would be happy to have a go this evening if you want.

EDIT: Didn't see the screenshot so I just guessed a bit. Something to do with your steam overlay and potentially not malware.

Hello Cam!

I'm not entirely sure, but I had a similar issue a few months back, and from my expereince this sounds a lot like an Artemis Virus. @Zeito/ @lioneldo you think that could be the case here?

 
need feedback, as the file listed is a legit one, the (2) at the end of it looks like he downloaded it himself, but why would it be running from user directory etc etc, I think a good scan with mbam with huesterics on custom scan wouldn't go amiss, but lets see if he has been mucking about with that file.

It could be that their updater software is especially shit ( its downloaded twice ????) or you have tried to get a non legit version that might be causing this ?!?

i get it on everyfile i have, i have had this for a while learnt to deal with it but now its getting out of hand and my internets like 250kb/s on steam so getting games back after a fresh pc wipe would be realy hard to get my games back, its kind of an issue as i wanna play mods and i cant because all i get is the error codes

Yeah this is not ideal.

Malwarbyte scan and then a decent antivirus scan.
