Is it me or are some cops kinda sad.

Don't get me wrong i like the cops on the servers but some are just dicks.

1. it's bs that cops just pull you over for nothing. i can't even get to a big city anymore because basicly all the cops stop you for absolutely nothing.

2. i just got arrested by pc woof, i was standing near the road fixing my controls and he just pulls up to me for nothing... i kindly started the conversation with 'my steering is locked i cant seem to get it to work' he blantly ignore's me and says 'you have a bounty on you and you're being arrested now. i wanted to run, i got in the car drove 2 m and he slams spike traps in/infront of my car. like what the actuall fuck? you cant just get your spike traps out and glitch it in my car like that.

You can always report cops you suspect of wrong-doing to the IPCC on the police forums.

I find whenever someone says they were doing "absolutely nothing" they were doing something. Speeding/Being in an area where there is disorder/Known Drug area/You fit the description etc.

mate dont even lie. i didn't even hear your radar beep, also you didnt turn around because i checked behind me. i was standing near the road for almost 2 min's before you showed up. and even if i was speeding, you can't just slam your spike traps like that. it's against the rules.

1. You were stopped because the owner of the vehicle was wanted for 5 counts of murder/manslaughter and 1 count of cop killing and speeding.

2. I never said "you're being arrested because you have a bounty on you", I even asked you if your were the owner of the vehicle and you said "yes" and you confirmed you were Ronnie Pickering.

3. I never slammed spike strips into your car either, I just placed it under your car.

1) You can be stopped by UK police for any reason to do spot checks if they have even the faintest idea you're possibly up to no good. I get stopped ALL THE TIME in real life.

2) I agree that is weak roleplay, especially if there was no particular way of identifying who you were without metagaming if you had no other interaction like him checking your firearms licence or driving licence.

3) Yes it is. It's called a Stinger device and is used by police around the world. It's a bead of nails they throw infront of moving cars to stop them.

When playing as a cop, I often try and pull people over to tell them tbekf tail light is out, or do some other type of RP with them. 90% of the time they drive off, and if I eventually get them to stop, they shoot at me. 

This may be the reason why cops are "sad" in your view. We are a bit fed up of people thinking that all we do is ANPR you and arrest you. If civs or rebels would stop and try and RP out of a ticket, it would be much more fun. I always try to let people go or give the smallest ticket possible when I can

Cops have it a lot harsher then you and give up their free time to make it so there's a faction to war against and robberies to do. Please, take your head from your posterior.

2. Sure it may be, but if you see the above which woof posted it seems this may not be the whole story, which is why I will not comment specifically on this incident.
   
3. Well, in real life if you can do it then sure do it It's perfectly fine to do. Although spikes should be harder to deploy imo but that's a different matter.

i agree with this, i have been pulled over shit loads lately for offences ranging from vehicle theft to murder and with a little bit of time and effort put into role playing with the police i havent had a ticket of more than 10,000 and my bounty wiped clean.

I must also add that ive actually found the rp from police so so much better recently than it has been in the past, keep up the good work officers  :Cool:

I must ask, and not to argue as I do agree there are loads of great roleplayers in the police but what ranks are you getting good RP from? It tends to be PCs and below (obviously not all) that I get bad RP from.

I can honestly say the cops are improving to the point of it being an outstanding improvement with regards to RP. Everyone has bad eggs, so lets not nit pick at it. If you're willing to talk and chat to cops, 90% of the time, they'll listen, appreciate what you're doing and let you off lighter, but given that you seem to have left some of the story out when you gave the description, I'd say it'd be best if a forum mod just locks it?
