Summary: Invisible in Group Chats

Full Description:
In the group chat app on the phone there is a max amount of 200 members. When someone joins they are immediately counted as "0" until they change their display name, making it impossible to know how many members your group chat actually has. People that change their name will count towards 1 extra user out of the 200 limit. If said person remove their display name, they will go back to being counted as 0.

I am not sure if this is a bug or a intended feature. But seems like a bug. At the moment you cannot be sure if said person has left the group chat or just changed their name to be listed as 0.

This is intentional and is done to give people the chance to spy on the group chat without instantly being detected (from there being more members than expected).

In regards to the count you see yes however they do still count towards the member limit.

I can imagine it being useful to spy etc. But I don't think I have ever seen a group chat that hides people that haven't set a name before. It is impossible for me to kick people or even notice them in there without deleting a groupchat and making a new one.

At the end of the day it's a game, we don't need to have everything 1:1 to real life.

Exactly as intended, if you have a high enough belief that someone may be spying on the chat then you can delete & recreate it however ofc that results in you having to re-invite everyone and losing all previous messages in the chat (which is my aim at discouraging people from just re-creating their chats everytime they slightly think someone may be spying on it).

Fair enough, if this is a intended feature. Just close this! Thanks 🙂 @1A3

Sorry, either we've been unable to reproduce this bug with enough detail, or its not been considered a bug.
Nevertheless, we appreciate your efforts, please do not be discouraged in submitting new bug reports going forward.
