As you know, last night the Admin team and myself convened to discuss the Mentor applications. We had a great cross section of the community and a lot of strong candidates, so coming to a final decision was no easy task. However, after several hours of discussion we came to a result I'm really pleased with. 
 
I am proud to announce today, the first ALUK Mentor group

These fresh-faced new recruits will be helping me help you, manning the teamspeak and defending it from trolls, helping those in need both in game and out, and greeting our newest members on the forums. What a nice bunch of lads.
 
I will stress that these chaps are not in an Admin role, but a support role that massively helps reduce problems encountered by the players and community. So please, enjoy their abundance of knowledge and helpful advice, but also appreciate their limitations.
 
So, join me in congratulating the lucky gentlemen on their new found positions, I certainly couldn't be more pleased with the mix

One thing that is kinda suspicious though is that there's 12 cops (who are busy already doing police shit day-in/out) and then 3 civs who do hobo stuff all day (Atleast Prox does :p )

I'm going to need more money, i seem to have gotten into the habit of giving people money to get started out. Im down to my last 16 million :(

 
Just pointing this out, with all these Police Mentors how are they gonna help people get started? ofcourse they know to do standard stuff like copper but can they give an in-depth guide on how to live the good life like one of the civs could? :p Just out of curiosity.

We have all been at that stage one time or another, I joined the server soon after it opened and have only been on the force for around three months.
