Illegal guns?

hello kind people, im slightly confused about the gun situation.

is there such things as illegal guns? or does it depend who's carrying them?

alot of situations i have seen members of gangs running around with mx's etc on their back or lowered and cops are oblivious to this.. 

but on the other hand i've seen non camo wearing guys getting chased by the full department for carrying an illegal weapon, i also watch alot of streams and youtube videos when this occurs so im massively confused about this law.

cops usually don't go for gangs that have weapons out as the rebels will usually rob the cops, take them hostage or want to kill them. They are valuing there life, unless ofcourse theres more cops then rebels or it'll end badly for the police side. @HazardCaution

Following on from Liams reply, the only weapons that are legal are handguns, and you need the Firearms license.

so how can the non gang member protect himself from these gangs at traders and dealers, when cops cant deal with the gangs and are freely carrying the most advanced weapons.

the gun that i bought to try and protect myself on the way to the dealers gets took off me by the cops for the gang to rob me when i get there, do the cops get a cut lol.

is it the amount of cops vs the amount of gang members? as ive seen cops in kavala centre and theres the one random gang member run straight past those officers with a gun on his back that u couldnt miss lol think everyone has witnessed that

Sometimes cops just leave people who run past them in say kavala athira or pygros as they mightve just spawned in. Me personally if i were you, I wouldn't do anything illegal. I'm a rebel and still dont do anything illegal, too much hardwork always ends up with cops shootout or a rebel shootout.

if theres say 13 cops in the area, 8ish on the hills n the rest of the cops down talking to say 6/7 rebels. The cops will initiate on the rebels for there weapons and if it ends in a shootout, the rebel side will lose more then the cop side. but if it were the other way around, they cops could call for back up or get out of there ASAP

I bought my rebel license before i bought my handgun license, I would recommend you join a gang if you'd like protection to do legal/illegal runs mate

Cops are far too busy to help every single person who does a dispatch, its very hard to keep up and help everyone.

here is the situation that happened anyway that i found quite bizarre - we seen a car expolde in kavala and as you know when that happens everyone around runs to the scene, which we did... a hobo picks up an mx and tries to run with it, the gang members get revived from the medic then cops show up,  the gang member types out of roleplay  can u get my gun back as we have lost alot of stuff, the cops chase the hobo and tells him to drop the gun which he doesnt so they try and taze him which kills him so then the gang member proceeds upto the guys body and picks up the gun the police ask the gang member to put the gun away and then the gang members leave.

i found that situation rather bizarre because by the time the cops showed up there must have been at least 10 of us around the hobo with the gun, if cops were valuing their life's at that point then they wouldnt have attempted to to retrieve the gun as they wouldnt have known if we were altogether. also after killing the hobo that they told to drop let another guy come up and take the gun and let him walk away lol i just found that a bizarre situation

If the car blew up it was most likely VDM from another vehicle in kavala so they've lost there gun through someone breaking rules. The rubber bullets the cops use are a bit iffy, if they pass through objects they turn into lethals or if you've jumped out a car for say 10seconds they act as lethals or if its a headshot it'll kill them, if they were in the greenzone the cops would've known the "hobos" couldnt do anything also "hobos" are always most likely unarmed so they arent a threat to anyones life.

i was confused about that law, wasnt sure if i was allowed to carry the illegal gun or if i wasnt.
