If you're driving and someone ran right in front of you can you get banned?

By the way I'm not banned I'm just asking so I'll know in future

So I was driving by the car shop at 29 miles per hour and someone walked right in front of me so I tried to brake but the car didn't stop in time so I hit him. Luckily VDM's don't count and he soon got up and it turned into a good role play situation as I was saying that I was a lawyer and  I would take him to court for scratching my car and he was saying "fight me".  But could that situation have got me banned as it happened a second time luckily I braked my car in time and I didn't hit him, although as I said before that role play situation was the most fun I've had in my entire time playing Altis Life.

If you're driving IRL and some guy runs out infront of you and you hit him is it your fault?, no my friend.

same applies here, if some guy has ran out on the middle without looking and he gets hit, he has himself only to blame.

I always jump out to ask if hes alright though.  :cookiexmas:

Very unlikely in my opinion. From what I've seen VDM is only punished if it is done knowingly, constantly or to a large group (ie: knowingly). It never hurts to hop out and apologize (in RP) however because at least then if it was down to desync or something like that you ensure that the other player knows it was a mistake.

Yeah I always get out to see if they are okay, even I didn't hit them I still get out to check if I didn't, the admin June also witnessed it as well (it was a couple of nights ago when I first got the game)
