+1, There really needs to be a law / power that allows us to give out tickets for people who fail to give way to emergency vehicles, as it happens far too many time when I'm responding to a incident that the car in front of me thinks I'm trying to pursuit it and just fly's off at 300km/ph and its really irritating, Please. Just pull to the side and see if we want to stop you and then decide if you want to run, not assume we are after you and run even though we aren't, as you are slowing down our response to what could be your friend or somebody else's friends life.
Not good.
I tried it earlier as I always do. Thought the police were responding to something because they came out of nowhere. Pulled off to the right side of the road and the cop turned his sirens off, stopped in the middle of the road and shouted at me for doing an illegal turn on a road and driving my vehicle off-road. I had to take a moment to make sure my ears were working fine.
The cops aren't the most considerate when it comes to road safety either. Remember that.
If this is the case with certain drivers it should be taken to the PCC, as we don't actually provide any driver training or pursuit training. Which I find to be a big downfall of the APD. As to the:
Pulled off to the right side of the road and the cop turned his sirens off, stopped in the middle of the road and shouted at me for doing an illegal turn on a road and driving my vehicle off-road.
I do not understand why a officer would do this if he was responding as in that case he is putting your driving in front of what he is already responding to, which would mean that the reason he had his lights and sirens activated in the first place was probably invalid anyway.
Hope that makes you understand a little bit of it, as every-time I see somebody pull over I give them a nice honk of the horn and say in direct "Thanks mate!", just like IRL we are taught to thank the driver for helping us by holding our hand up, or any sort of acknowledgement of their helpful driving.

It is frustrating when Police/NHS end up barreling into a tree or wall because Civilians haven't pulled to let us pass safely and it often ends up tradgic.
I agree, There needs to be more awareness of this on the roads of Altis.
I have seen this far too many a time too, but its usually the fault of the Medic/Cop too, because they either try to overtake in the most stupid place, like into oncoming traffic, or through a field to the side of the road. Best thing to do if somebody isn't moving and you don't know why is turn your sirens off and wait so they don't get agitated and make a hasty decision as to what they are going to do, give them chance to do what they need to and get out of your way and keep it safe. As no incident is too important for you to endanger the lives of others in your response driving.
Thanks,
SGT Joseph Tadworth.
