I wanna know if RDM is applied to this situation.

Hi,

Earlier today I was playing and as I am walking a guy pulled a gun on me and told me to put my hands up. I complied and I proceeded to raise my hands up. He then robs my money (£5000) and after that he asks me which gang I'm in, since I didn't knew his identity I told him I wasn't from any gang to avoid problems. Now this is the part that I don't understand, after following all of his orders etc etc he proceeds to shoot me down and execute me, is he allowed to do that? Even though I followed ALL of his orders?

Thanks,

Disturbed.

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

As long as the RP is there and it is of a good standard then it is not RDM.

If he was robbing you and you were complying with all of his orders, then he shot you down just because he was done with you, then yes that is RDM.

can someone actually clarify this I would really like to know cause I thought the same as haywire

From the ratings of my answer, people clearly disagree, but I'll wait for clarification too.

The rule clearly states that you must provide quality roleplay and as an example says you should give your victim enough time to comply. That should mean that if they do comply, you can't just shoot them down once you've taken their money. That's how OP portrays what happened in his question. I believe you can roleplay an execution after you've robbed someone (still shit imo) which would be within the rules. You can't just kill a compliant target with no further roleplay after you've finished ordering them around, which is what I gathered happened here.

@Haywire @Crexvin, At the moment it is unclear with this case as there is no evidence which has been given against either party so take it with a grain of salt.

This all depends on if the attacker actually played out the execution or just killed them out right like just telling him to put his hands up, robbing him and then just saying something like "you die now" or nothing at all that would be a ban however there is no evidence right now so currently it is impossible to know.

We all just going off what is been said above and not taking into account which details could be different as there is always two sides to every story.

Yeah I know this, but I was just answering his question with the scenario that he provided🙂

How that could be RDM if you RP'd with him,and even tho he was complying you can still change your mind and tell him that you gonna kill him even tho he complied cause you are filthy criminal or whatever other reason.
