I thought Poseidon and Police were somewhat against eachother or meant to at least

So, me and some lads just tried to RP a kavala bank, and then comes some cops and poseidon that are completely refusing to rp and running in with guns, they are running around together, and they then allowed poseidon to ziptie me, steal my stuff, and then afterwards kill and execute me. The cops initiated together with poseidon, as in, "Poseidon and police will shoot" like, literally initiating together.

I would be fine with this if they actually had some RP related stuff, instead of just running around together being mega agressive and guns blazing. This is prob an unpopular opinion, but this is shit.

And it doesnt help that poseidon just searched me outright and said "oh and btw, he has a gun in his backpack" not saying anything what so ever, not, i'm searching you, or i'm looking in your backpack

Considering poseidon is a drug cartel running around with illegal firearms, and police are meant to stop that

I mean, dont get me wrong, i'm fine with it, if there was any RP related to it, instead of just people hanging out with eachother and cops just letting their "partners" execute someone

 
It really depends on the situation. We are usually at odds with the police but occasionally we have a shared objective or are just friendly with each other. It is a game after all and not all is serious. There were a cop and poseidon member going on a date together. Aside from that even irl cartels have worked with the police to take down other cartels. It happens, things aren't always black and white.

 
Not rly the best way to go about this dude, if you have an issue with the way the cops handled the situation then go to gold command. Or submit a PCC? Just making a post complaining about the situation will only cause drama.

Each situation's different. Surprisingly we don't always insta start a gunfight with Poseidon.

We both know a PCC is in RP and biased towards nothing happening, its not gonna get anything done

Yeah, i know stuff isnt always black and white, but when police literally let poseidon execute a civilian in front of them, thats kind of where i draw a line. But my problem is not that they worked together either, my problem is with the way they worked together, they were all agressive and didnt let us RP, they just ran in and shouted "Why are you robbing the bank" not even letting us say a word because there were 8 people around us

We had a nice date with the officers, and decided to take a pit stop as obviously the cops had duty while we had our date. For this reason we decided to help our dates out with the situation. The rest is roleplay, seems like you have entirely misunderstood the relations and do not see the similarities, instead you only seem to be focused on the contrasting parts.

This is true, I was on security.

 
Not talking for the everyone in this server, but roleplay is something lacking quite hard, mainly in Police and Poseidon (since its a white listed faction the main focus should be roleplay).
I could say the Police is worser, every single situation i had with police officers went very bad in these few days i've been playing, either for power gaiming or not giving a damn about any kind of roleplay from rebel or civilian side.
This server is lacking roleplay more and more, would be nice to see it back up once again, but well, that's not just up to me and all the people that really put some effort in it.

We arrived at the situation, everyone came in to speak to you in the office chair and started chatting about what is going on. You explain the situation and roleplay as a banker, we followed the role-play up, the police went in the back and started "fixing" the alarm for you. I don't think it is any fair of accusing us for the lack of role-play, it was you who directly resorted to shooting us. I don't want to comment more on this, as I think this topic is highly unnecessary and is just a huge rant. Afterall, this is a role-play server, situations are variable not constant.

Frist of all, i wasn't even roleplaying as a banker, secoundly neither me nor the manager (Ron) were able to speak because of all the acusations without even listening, this was what actually happened, iam not accusing you Poseidon, since you roplayed more than the Police but still was a shit situation and roleplay overall.

 
i mean i the end this thread is just gonna cause drama, if you have any issues with how it was done take it to the right places or talk to command of the factions instead

In all my time on this server, i have only seen one guy get properly punished for his actions in a PCC. The rest is just minor things that they do like "He has to be a PCSO for 3 days" or some shit like that, do you think people are gonna learn from it? Also, you said it yourself, demoted for a bit, not demoted, just temporarely. We both know PCC's are bs, dont lie to me Nikolai, i know you are smarter than that.

And when that one guy got properly punished for his actions, everyone was crying and said he did nothing wrong (everyone in the police that i spoke to)

I think thats fair. PCSO for a week is a pretty harsh punishment IMO. PCSO is a terrible rank to have for a week. Either no gun or MK20 depending on the tier, cannot do anything specialist etc. that is a pretty fair rank.

You want to strip a guy of a rank like SI permanently down to something like Sgt or even CI when that promotion can take months for having a bad day and not wanting to go along with an RP story he has heard 600 times this year? It is a game remember.

High rank in the police should show that this cop knows what he is doing. If you are not gonna demote high ranking cops for doing stupid things, things that make them not worthy of SI, then why even have that punishment? And then also, are they gonna learn from it? Are they gonna improve from it? 

And the problem is that we didnt even get to explain our situation. What would you do if a cop ran into your face without assessing the situation with a gun pulled and then asks why are you robbing the bank? Friendly MXSW pointed towards a guy thats sitting down in a chair, yes...

And you gotta remember, this is an RP server as well as a game

A one off. A bad day. Why strip someone for having a bad day? That is why temporary punishments exist. If they repeatedly do it, and show they do not deserve the rank, that is when the demotion becomes permanent.

De-escualte. Try and explain. You need to step up on the RP side, and if they don't want to RP after that, send a video to GC
