I play using a different account and havent been able to access the full forums because i have my steam integrated with this account is there any way i can change this?

yes there is(i can't help with it before you ask) 

i would link your other forum account, and you need to be able to prove the steam account(and maybe the old and new forum account) before it can be done for safety reasons 

other than that, good luck with getting it sorted!

Done, as you signed up with steam the only way to perform this was to delete the account fully.
