I am starting to get pissed off with how much killing there is without any RPG.

I can't be the only person getting fed up of the killing without any role play?

I was killing outside the gun store by a bunch of pricks only minutes after getting my gear back together and spending atleast 30k on items.

They even stole my car.

This is actually starting to make me not play the game.

I previously stopped playing for the same reason, to come back on for a bit to it only happen again.

Fuck this.

That is all well and good but you have never reported a player.

Without player reports people do not get banned, So instead of moaning and getting irate just record the situation and fill out a report so action can be taken.

You're not the only person who gets fed up with this,

I have been RDM'd / attempted RDM'd so many times after chasing someone down and they then continued to shoot as soon as they get out of the car. Just as bad as that, people often bait cops / civilians and get into gunfights by initiating minimal roleplay purely to kill a few people.

Luckily, this is the minority of the community and the large majority are fantastic roleplayers who are here to enjoy gaming with other members. If anyone RDM's you then you can always create a compensation request and report the player who killed you to keep them off the server.

I agree entirely, This server is in desperate need of RPG's. @Wilco How about RPG's in the hangun store?

Cheers,

Endrogen

Two rules I follow on this server ..

#RPEverything

#RecordEverythingBecauseSomePeopleDontRPEverything

Follow those two rules and you'll have a fun time on this server.

Bit off topic here but I need to get this off my chest.

People have probably noticed that I have not submitted a single player report, and that is because;
I believe everyone makes mistakes, making them continuously is what I believe to be toxic and remove your privilege to play on the community.
Killed with piss-poor RP? Everyone has bad-days.
VDM blowing up your helicopter? Shit happens. Talk to the player in a non-aggressive manner and take it from there.
Someone swearing at you over teamspeak? Again, everybody is prone to outbursts of rage, especially in heated-moments.

Hell, I could talk to someone over teamspeak about a rule they broke over teamspeak and they were a bit aggressive. I myself can get like that and I am very stubborn on the surface, however, I take what they say as advice and learn from it.

I absolutely hate seeing player-reports over nothing; in act of spite; to get revenge. They are used in my opinion, by a lot of people, to not better the community, but to get revenge or stop that person playing on the servers. I will hold my hands up and say I was like this when I was playing cop with cops I knew were breaking the rules. I did this out of spite and hatred of the person. I'd wake up the next day and not care what they did.

Everyone makes mistakes. Would you like to be punished for making a mistake?

Totally agree. I've always believed the 1 chance rule should be removed after a few months without a report. I know Vladic Ka can testify that I was a noob-ie,hobo-ie,troll-ie, dick-ie annoyance when I first joined the server. Rightly so, I received an on the spot ban and because of it I now think I could be called a reasonably good member of the community. I'm not the same person who received that ban.

Just my 2 cents, not looking to stir anything and don't really mind. I'm a good boy so I don't expect any reports anyway  ^_^

There's a difference between making a mistake, and the difference between being an ass clown who is always doing it even when you talk to them about their behavior.

That's why I said multiple. Let's say you were trying to rob someone but your mic was muted / not working and they didn't hear you, so they kept on doing what they were doing and you killed them. They report you, you get banned. You submit a ban appeal but then you're on your last chance on the server.

There's a difference between someone coming up in the killfeed 24/7, or is wanted for a fucktonne of manslaughters and someone who has a few / 1 manslaughter(s) and genuinely made a mistake.

If they don't change their behaviour after you speak to them, then they obviously don't wish to be serious on a SERIOUS roleplay server, in which case they should be banned.

Oh and GZ on sgt bby <3

I had someone fire at us randomly, once. I found him in TS3 and moved to his channel. I explained the rule about initiating roleplay and told him that it wasn't allowed. He said he didn't know any better and I told him a cursory glance at the rules would inform him, and he apologized. I left the room and I never seen nor heard of him again.

Sometimes doing all you can to contact these people prior to reporting them can really help to rehabilitate some of them.

Otherwise, record and report.
