I am disgusted to hear from multiple people that TI Crispy has been celebrating the banning of Maratek.

We have a system here with report a player, and a ban was correctly in the admin teams point of view correctly applied.

Maratek also was removed from his admin position as you are aware but not from the Police, however this does not take away the fact he is a person, a person who has put in 10-11 months of nothing but hard work and good intention into this community.

TI Crispy has been correctly community banned for this, I will not have this here.... if you have some sort of unnecessary hate over a computer game then that's going to be a issue in the long run here.

Now i have also heard of people going into Crispys teamspeak room to congratulate him for getting Maratek removed....

This is a warning to those people about there future conduct here, I know who you are and i suggest you change your ways and do some growing up.

 
Well I did not expect to see this today... But if you feel it necessary Wilco then so be it. Shame we've had to lose two community members over this, but I guess there was wrong doing on both sides.

As Wilco said, Maratek AND Crispy were both real people like you and me, so unless you have something constructive to say then it's just better to keep it to yourself.

 
Agree with Wash. It's a shame that this whole situation has occurred.

 
Maratek will be back soon as he posts that unban appeal, after all its his first ban.

Its fine to report a player including an admin but going around like its a rare xbox achievement is one thing that actually gets my blood boiling.

Seriously though, there's no need for it. 

Maratek will be back, I'm sure, as you said.. Has he been blacklisted from the police, or is that something you can't/wont comment on?

 
I implore everyone to go and reread the server rules.
Especially rule #0. It is perhaps the most difficult to understand but the most important.

Breaking this rule will result in being removed.
Let's all remember we are indeed by and large a mature and intelligent group of people.

The post I have been waiting for! Hats off because I am glad you can see this as it is something that has crept into the community, its a power issue of sorts, I would liken it to "small man complex". Showing me and the rest of the community that the kind of behaviour demonstrated is not for this community, I admire your perseverance because I know how much of your time it can take and the stress it involves. 

Crisp's attitude following the action taken reiterates the point I made on Maratek's thread about leaving, it worries me that someone can be so scorned to seek out someone in the way he did. If those points were highlighted individually they would have been dealt with accordingly, instead they were held back until the report had the strength to sway even the most liberal admin.

Neo just streamed the police meeting, and I believe he said that he's not blacklisted from the police, but if he chooses to join the force again he will start as a CSO. (I think that's what he said)

Nope! Our recommendation was for the Police to discuss the issues separately, we had no intentions of removing Maratek from his police positions as the Police run here without little guidance from the admin team... hopefully Maratek after hes taken some time out will have a think about it and open a un-ban request and then decide if he wants to continue in the police or do something else.

That is completely his decision, you don't need to be an admin to be in a high position in one of the factions on the server, and you know what if i was commander / CSI / CMO / Mickey Mouse ...Wilco i wouldn't be an admin... you can pour more into it and focus more into an area without worrying about other factors or events taking place.

This is another matter ENTIRELY, but I do agree (somewhat) that it's a good idea for head of staff in certain areas to temporarily remove their admin rights in game.. I don't know, it's more than likely not necessary just a thought.

I can't believe childish shit like that is going on...

I don't see how you can take a disagreement to some sort of personal vendetta against a person and for other people (Many of which I doubt ever had too much to do with maratek) to take some pride in it... 

I will admit he would stretch the boundaries, but only to benefit RP...

It was actually he would not be a CSO, it would be discussed by the Command of the police (CSI/SI) at what rank he would return at.

I left TI after this incident as I was disgusted with Crispy's attitude he was determined. I am glad Maratek is coming back now though!
