I recently got myself this headset and when I first tested it it worked perfectly however now the mic does not work when plugged into the headset, but works plugged into elsewhere. Does anyone know how I can fix this??

make sure the mic isn't muted on the sound card, had that mistake

@JStar I wish it was that, might actually be able to fix it then thanks anyway

the mic is detachable so push it back in the headset.

 Check if the mic isn't muted on the in line control. Check of your mic is selected as active in your windows recording devices.

On Sound Controls make sure on Recording and Playback tab that both are selected as default devices
