Huron - Hook

Hey guys ^-^

I've been wondering ever since the Helicopters were able to Hook a ground vehicle and carry it, why it's not available with the Huron. I understand that when random people troll with this feature in an Orca, there is a problem. But when people like me, who actually pay 30 mil for a helicopter, i don't see why we can't have this advantage. 

I'm not a developer, nor am i a coder, but i don't think this would be too hard to implement. 

Also, i don't think one would troll around with a feature in a 30 mil helicopter if their helicopter is at risk of getting taken from them.

What do you think?

I tried different helicopters, but it didn't let me hook with any of them. Is it even enabled on this server?

The hook is disabled on this server  Just cuz Kavla Hobo's in choppers and Cop cars don't mix well...

Could be abused so hard..

You could use your huron to lift a HEMMT Box and by doing that you have a 1500 storage capacity.

That's true, but you forget i payed 30 mil for this thing, some perks may apply.

Also, it isn't hard to make it so HEMMT Boxes can't be used with this feature.

I have two hurons and I think that the large storage space + speed of the helicopter compared to trucks is a big enough perk in itself.

As i said, with restrictions such as making the HEMMT Box unable to be carried due to it's weight, could make other uses for this feature than just storage space. Why farm weed for money, then use it for a Heli so you can farm even more money. I think it would allow more diversity to the gameplay aspect.

I do see why this feature may not be on the top of the priority list, but could be considered in future patches. ^-^

I do believe it was introduced and was used to troll by hobos ( let's bomb kavala with cars/pickup people's cars and destroy them ) then it was enabled only for cop vehicles, and this was abused by police and Civs, thus causing the gods ( our lovely admins ) to remove the feature altogether.

Could you be more specifik on how this was "abused" by cops or others. I know that dropping vehicles in a city is bad. But i've seen many servers where you can't drop a vehicle unless it's on the ground. Or where you can't hook a vehicle that you don't have the keys to.

Many of the larger gangs own quite a few Hurons and HEMMT Boxes, could you just imagine seeing 4+ hurons in the sky carrying trucks beneath them? from drug field to processor to dealer, it would be ridiculous in my opinion, also the police would have no chance keeping up with them or stopping them.

I think you're right about that ActualPanda. But i was thinking about only allowing smaller vehicles to get grabbed and not have this feature be used for drug possession. Like i said before this opens up a lot of new possibilities and diversity to the gameplay.
