How would I go round making a computer?

What I did is go to stores that aren't that big and ask for advice. Preferable stores that make computers themselves. These are mostly the most honest persons. They will tell you what's the best. And you can search the components they recommend on internet and see what it costs to let them make it for you or if you make it yourself. But what you NEVER should do is go to a big store (like walmart) and buy computers there. They are always so overpriced.
