How situations should be handled.

After the recent changes to "if you dont feel like resolving then you dont have too". There should be a change to that you have to talk to them. I feel everything gets resolved when people speak to each other for about 5 minutes, it works great and 85% of the time the situation stops there and everyone moves on. I feel like the only time you should put up a report a player is when they have refused or didnt respond when you ask them to come on TS then you can go ahead with the report.

Thank you for dealing with it in your own way but please attempt to do it before reporting next time ;). - Archie - situation resolved

Issue has been resolved. Moved to denied. - JohnJoeegan - Situation resolved

Wonderful. I'm glad this could have been resolved! - Fluqi - Situation resolved

Fantastic this report will be moved to the denied section as it's resolved - Robbie - Situation resolved

Wonderful, I am glad this could be resolved peacefully. - Fluqi - Situation resolved

This was me going to the FIRST page of (action taken). You can see how much of a difference it makes when you talk to someone for 5 minutes. There will be less reports and in my opinion it will be all round better for the community.

But the problem is. People will be called to teamspeak 24/7. And most of the time those conversations will take ages and will be like "you did something wrong" "no I didn't" blablabla. I think it's better now that if you feel like someone did something that is not acceptable you can report it.

I believe the reason why the need to resolve was removed is because too many people skirt the rules and then just compensate to avoid a report.

This way; a report goes up and then resolution can be made, But there's still a record of the rule break. So that serial offenders can be identified

Get a staff member there with you. If the attitude it like that. If it still carries on then report the player.

Then people need to learn the rules and stop crying when they think someones broken one. The amount of times i get callled into TS all i do it copy and paste the correct rule that fits into the situation and thats that. Its not their fault that "conversations will take ages" if the other person being a dick or not listening then leave. Everyone needs to stop crying about the smallest shit lmao.

The comp thing has stopped. No one does that anymore, the only people that did that was invicta. They had stupid amounts of money and didnt give a fuck. They got out of everything because of the money.

There shouldnt be a record of a rulebreak. If the situation is resolved and everyones happy the past is the past forget about it.

As I've said before; it is a relatively GOOD thing that these reports get put up. As staff we get to see who 'chats shit' so to speak, learn more grey areas and see who the trouble makers are, regardless of it gets resolved or not. In my experience the requirement to have to talk to someone on teamspeak mainly ends up in heated arguments and even worse shit getting said (abuse OOC) this way people can calm down before going onto teamspeak if asked by the other player via forum report.

The staff team is at its biggest and with another expansion imminent at the end of the month we can deal with the work easily and efficiently.

At this point people have a choice...

to report or to solve beforehand or solve after the report...

all around i think its best that prople have a choice...

and the way it is right now is great so grey areas could be clarified...etc as @Samatlewis said before.

It's honestly a good thing that people are willing to resolve but also I've seen a lot of cases if someone broke rule against you that person is always offering compensation to only avoid report but not actually learned the lesson. Comp or not I would report someone who clearly haven't learned from his mistakes.
