How many monitors does the GTX 980 support

I would recommend getting using HDMI on your main monitor, and getting USB monitors for your other screens.

I don't know the maximum limit for USB monitor support, but at one point I had 6 plugged in at work and they all worked fine.

I use a GTX 980.

Built in to the actual GPU is 1 HDMI slot and 3 DisplayPort slots. The 980 will quite happily support all of these in use at the same time. I personally use three DisplayPort monitors, and I have no issues at all.

i'm using a zotac GTX 980 amp and it works great with my 55in 4k flat screen

I rekon the 980 will support 2 monitors, but you will have to balance them carefully
