How many fans to a case? Fan splitters?

Hello,

I am building a new PC and was just wondering about fans and how many to have as my case only comes with one fan...

Here is the build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/VzvRnn

I just want to know would I need more fans or will the case fan at the back of the case suffice?

I was going to get two more fans anyway but noticed the mobo only has one fan socket and then I looked into splitters but heard this could short circuit the mobo??

Anyway just wondering do I need more fans and will fan splitters damage my mobo or PC in anyway?

Mobo: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01B2WS6EQ/?tag=pcp0f-21

Fans: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002KTVFTE/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Splitters: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00L6M2OSC/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Any recommendations and advice appreciated!

Also anywhere cheap to get windows 10 or am I just gonna have to fork it over?

Thanks.

Try to get atleast 4 fans, atleast 1 on front and back.

Basically enough fans for you to do this!

You want an Intake fan, but then an exhaust fan, i recommend 2 at front, 2 at top, and one on the back.

If you dont want to spend that much on fans, get 2 front, 1 top and 1 back!

Main kind of fan to have is at least exhaust. Best to fit at least 1 intake as well. Splitters probably wont short circuit your mobo, but best to avoid them anyway. I'd be surprised if the mobo only has 1 fan header on it too, plenty have at least 2, if not more.

It's worth researching and getting good fans. Corsair AF or SP series fans are good, as are silentwings. Cheap fans can be noisy, or not move much air. Compare the cfm rating of the fans you're going to buy.

Thanks for the help guys but unfortunately the mobo only has 1 system fan header so I will get a dual fan splitter and a second fan for my case, one for intake and one for exhaust.

Just wondering also if there's anywhere to get windows 10 retail key for less than on amazon?

Yes.

For windows 10, if you attend uni or know someone who does, microsoft gives out free keys depending on the grade/course/degree/whatever.

It's a project called Sparkdream.

I have that case :D The airflow listed is all wrong, DAMN YOU GOOGLE WHY YOU FAIL US!!!!!

this is based off a negative pressure setup, its good in a open environment, but if your in a cramped environment, you will want to switch to a positive pressure setup.

Hey me too! Though my airflow works just like the image, front in, top out, rear out, PSU out.
