How does taxi role work ?

Good afternoon,

I am new on the island and I'd like to know how does the taxi role work.

I gained almost £300,000 and bought the licence, the clothes and the SUV but now I don't know what to do. Do I have to activate something ? Do I need something else ? Do I need to use Teamspeak ? 

Also could you give me, please, an average price for a run ?

Taxiing is mostly a roleplay job, you don't stand to earn a lot from it. You decide the rates, but usually it's 1k per km. You will receive a taxi request once someone requests a taxi via their mobile. You will need your taxi clothes and taxi ans there are some rules concerning the role of taximan, which I suggest you read.

Obviously my aim is not to earn money from the job but I only wanted to have a vague idea of the rates.

Also for the request, am I the only one who receives it or do the other taxies receive it ? If they do, do I need to be on teamspeak with my colleagues to know who will get the client ?
