How do I know how long a ban is?

Anyways, what happened was that there was a group of people standing in the courtyard in front of the government office. Everybody (including me) was crowded around the snack bar yelling at the cashier guy when somebody amidst the crowd starting screaming the N word. I was promptly banned. How do I know how long the ban is so that I may take appropriate action.

All bans on ALUK are permanent.

If you want you can try appealing it by clicking on support at the top right of this page -> Unban appeal.

Please note, Racism is a perm ban with NO appeal. So if it was you and the admin who banned you is certain it was you, you're done here. If not - appeal and see how it goes.

We are well known for being strict with our rules, this allows us to maintain our extremely high standard of roleplay on our servers at all times. This distances ourselves from a lot of other communities that offer minuscule punishments, such as temporary bans. We believe that if you are banned, you should have to explain your side of the story, rather than wait a few hours for the ban to expire. This means our staff team has to do a lot more administration work than other communities, yet it ensures that only people who really want to get un-banned can play again.

It wasn't like hidden or something, it would have been less time finding it yourself rather than posting this =P. All bans are permanent, unless succesfully appealed.

Never seen the point of temporary bans, that would just put a price on rulebreaking, meaning anyone can do it as long as youre prepared to sit out the ban and people who don't care about the rules get a chance to ruin everyone elses experience.
