Houses gone due to christmas and new year vacation (Approved - Awaiting house price and in-game comp)

Hello there, so I go away for Christmas and New years with my family and girlfriend home back log on and see I have no houses. At first I was confused till I was told why it happened, I just feel its abit out of order that  you do this over Christmas and New years (sorry for having a life) My home was full of Zafirs and i understand there now no longer in the game so I dont worry about them. How ever I would love the money back that I spent on my homes.

Not atall out of order... we can do anything at any time to aid the server. On this occasion i felt we gave too much time.

I knew a few regulars would get caught out and i was fine to comp them should it occur... however not for people who have been inactive for a while.
