This is not a report I just wish more informations on the subject.

Dear Altis citizens,

Few days ago I spawned in my house in Kavala, 30 seconds later after I was checking my storage box. I heard a knock knock, It's the big bad wolf.

The cops where out my house, they ended up searching it and taking me to jail.

The loss of my gear appart, this revolt me.

I asked to the cops how did they knew I was there and they didnt even bother respond to me.

I had not gone out of the house yet, I did not shot or anything. I litteraly just spawned.

My point is:

- I would like rules about house searching because they obviously meta gamed. Since their is no other way they knew I was in.

This is a post for everybody to talk and share informations so don't hesitate to respond.

PS: I also wish to see a cop police that take care of cops abuse. Their is too much cops known for breaking rules and that are still out even if so called "officers" know about them.

Why is it that every post I see about police they always mention that when they tried to speak to the cops about a situation the cops supposedly ignores them? Am I living in an alternate reality or does this just never happen when I am on the server.. ?

Who were the officers, how many of them, what were their ranks, was there an active hunt for anybody around.

All police complaints get taken very seriously, i'm sure at some point this thread will be moved to the PCC but without any details you are essentially just crying wolf from our perspective.

There are rules about house searches, either the officers involved broke them (big nono) or they had a valid reason and you are upset so posted a complaint with no details. (I'm not implying one way or the other but with no evidence, names or prompted discussion this thread is going nowhere)

I eagerly await an officer coming forward with his/her account and some evidence from both sides.

This is not a complaint, this is a statement otherwise It would be in an other category on the forum.

Oh, you naughty boy. For reference, the officers involved were me and SGT Brat. I shall be uploading a video very soon. (RIP Welsh Internet).

Firstly to confirm why we raided your house, we were going about checking houses and we saw that you were wanted and noticed your house was there. We then noticed a storage box upstairs, however soon after it disappeared since you logged off. I then noticed it reappear and you were inside that house with a vermin out. We asked you to step outside multiple times and refused to do so. You simply insisted on calling us metagamers. Therefore we breached entry into your house and arrested you. Perhaps if you want to roleplay opening the door next time and speaking to police officers with some courtesy and respect you would not be spending a lovely time in prison.

I'm not sure if checking houses is enough of a motive.

You can admit that to see cops knocking on door less than 1 one minute after you connect is quite arsh.

Anyway feel free to upload the video, since due to my loss of temper I broke more rp rules that you will ever do In your life.

(And I apologise on it).

For the vermin out in the second floor of my own house, you don't know it but puting the scope, the silencer and finaly the weapon in your backpack is a hard task when it's full.

*I also reminds you guys It wasnt a report threat but just an informative one. I'm just explaining my point of view and I ask for informations. I should have kept the "ps" about cops abuse for an other post.

How were we suppose to metagame? If you really connected and we were at your house less than one minute after? The truth is you just "re-logged". Meaning you were on the server, then just disconnected to the main menu, never actually leaving the server, and then got back ingame. Maybe to "teleport" from one location to another. Because your name was on the wanted list, then disappeared without you disconnecting, then re-appeared along with your box and you.

And there is already rules about searching houses. We can't just do it willy-nilly.

I sure believe there is rules but I have checked the server rules and I didnt see it.

How are we random citizen supposed to know if they have the right to search it or not.

At the time it happened, I was totaly unaware of anything and I promise you that it might not be easy to be a cop in kavala but it's even worse to be a random dude (I generally tend to avoid this place since I more than often ended up in jail even if I intended not to break any law).

This lack of information turn every citizen into paranoia and make it difficult to role-play in good condition.

Ps: I learnt by a private message that rules are currently being written for the aware of citizens. Maybe my post was to early but I just wanted to anderstand it all.

Bob the video is boring we want to hear you aswell and you kinda fucked up rendering....

But back to whats really important:

-As far as I know cops are only allowed to search a house if they suspect drugs or other illegal items in your house (correct me if I am wrong)

-You could have RPed yourself more or less out of it instead of shouting "YOU FUCKING METAGAMER" all the time.

With that being said I dont think a different set of rules has to be set for Houses

Unfortunately I don't want to spend more time on that video as it deserves none. It proves his attitude towards us.

We understand people log in and have their weapons out as a result, we would've let you go if you had not gone out of roleplay and started blurting your bullshit around. Your attitude towards us got you sent to prison.

As for rules around houses, there was a police meeting a while time ago which said that houses need the authorization of SI's to be conducted. However, if we see a crime in progress (you having your weapon out) we can breach that house and arrest you. We're not just going to watch you through the window doing something illegal.

We see I loose my temper it's obvious but we also see you don't try to role play much or explain the situation.

No I dont.

But arriving and saying : "Knock knock it's the big bad wolf" is not very acceptable to.

I'm playing for fun not to deal with police bullying.

I know I lost my temper going out of roleplay I already said it and even apologised for it.
