Hostility From All

I am here to ask members of the community to take a step back and see how they are treating people. I do not want this topic to become flooded with grievances against other players but I have a simple message I would like to convey. I feel as if members of the community are becoming increasingly hostile to each other. Also playing a role in this topic is something it seems a lot of people are afraid to talk about Admin Hostility. I ask the admins of this community to please take a step back and look at your past posts from when you first started to now. I can't guarantee it but I will make a guess that at the beginning your posts were not as brash and harsh as when you first started. I'm not saying the admins are dictators ruling with an iron fist and we need to rise up and stop them. I'm just asking all community members, admins and regular Joe's like the rest of us, look at your post before you post it. Ask yourself does it contribute to the topic at hand and is it going to offend someone to the point they develop a hatred for you. Now I know we can't please everyone and their will always be those few who just can't be reasoned with but the community as a collective whole can make a change for the good in our attitudes and messages. I know sometimes your having a bad day but please don't take it out on someone else who does not deserve it or someone who deserves it, we are all in this together and we need to take a step back and look at ourselves and wonder the big question of Was it necessary to be that harsh? Now some people deserve a harsh message to get a point across but some people who are just here to have fun and made a mistake or said something you did not agree with do not deserve the same comment the guy who is being a rude jerk does.

Sincerely,

SGT Graham

If it weren't for those "harsh" admins we probably wouldn't have this community we all call home, maybe instead of them being less "harsh" , what if the people braking rules in the first place actually read the rules and don't give the admins a reason to ban them?

I agree with Graham, not about the admin stuff I think what they do 95% of the time is just and needed. However he has a point in the fact that there is a lot of things that can be resolved in a nicer manor than how most things are dealt with and it seems at times people of this community are only putting things on the forums to take digs at other community members.

I didn't mean this post to take a dig at the admins at or other community members I just think we all need to improve how we talk to other people.

I understand where you are coming from but I feel as if someone who just started and made a mistake which the generally had no idea about, and we put an incredibly rude post out on something they did or said. It is a massive turnoff for new people to join the community or for long standing community members because it's just toxic at that point and no ones likes that.

Yeah man I agree to a certain extent , to be honest one fing that makes me straight up angry is when people think it's ok to throw insults and abuse at someone who for example gets banned and does a fair well message, there's just no need for attitudes like that

Not everyone is perfect and I feel like that people throwing the insults are angry at that person and feel like adding insult to injury is necessary but its not obviously and as a community we need to make changes for the better.

The thing is half the time when someone is angry they say something they do not mean or make a post about it and that does not help at all. but it does get resolved eventually one way or another.

I agree sometimes we don't give the best answers, but sometimes don't deserve them.

We "waste" hours and hours every day dealing with all this issues, when players only have to play.

I can tell you i already sent messages to some admins to take it down a notch, be polite and continue banning.

I have seen what you are talking about and I agree with you on that sometimes you just have to be harsh no matter what. I understand the commitment the admins make and I and many other appreciate it.
