Hostage scenarios.

So earlier today i had a hostage scenario  where we was surrounded inside a small building with cops all around the building,

the roleplay was fine and everything was going smoothly. But it seam'd that as soon as a nhs medic was around the cops did not care for the civ's life and open fired as soon as they knew a nhs heli was flying above, they used this to there advantage knowing the hostage was gonna come out alive anyway, anyway what happened at the end is the police opened fired as soon as the nhs heli arrived and the hostage was injured (people cant be killed straight away) maybe something can be implemented to stop this from happening ?

What could be implemented to prevent this? Police hostage training? Pamphlets for rebels on how to take hostages?

There was a time where a group took several hostages, and we negotiated the release of all of them without a single shot being fired. It was beautiful, but it was also a rare occurrence. The sad truth is that many police and rebels are far too trigger happy, and itching for a fight. I relish the day when rebels are actually scared of facing the cops and have to put actual planning into their kidnapping.

I wasn't there, so I didn't know everything that went on, but I doubt that it was just because the NHS were on scene that they stormed the situation. If it was, then that's a complete fail of training on the police side, as they are drilled with the phrase 'value your life'.

maybe head shots cause insta deaths with no revivals, so hostage scenarios are taken less lightly. If this is possible anyway

i like that. +1 think that if death was more final more rp will be around.
