So I just looked at the front page. And if you didn't know already, in the top right corner we have a donation tracker. And there is a goal there, of 500 British Pounds. But we as the amazing community have donated 402% of that (2010/500)

And now I'm curious as to how the servers can be so unstable when Wilco pays so much... First I thought like any idiot #BlameCiaran but then I realized, this is not only ALUK that experiences this.. It's all servers! So why don't we start a petition to make Bohemia start fixing their shit and focus on making the online game experience better, instead of using time on a DLC that only about 30-40% of all (active) players are gonna buy anyway.

I know that Bohemia doesn't have this fault alone and that ALUK is targeted by a massive amount of cry-kiddies who DDoS, and I think that Wilco should post an announcement everytime the server is getting targeted by DDoS so we blame the DDoS'ers instead of Ciaran ;)

We could buy the most expensive server that the datacentre offers and the CPU will just sit idle and unused along with silly amounts of ram.

There are some big issues with arma3server.exe, Ciaran is forever keeping the mind of what is looping when adding new scripts, Alot of this however is due to clients running there computers on Potatos and 56k modems... the server waits and in turn so does everyone else if one person is having issues. (Ciaran explained this and no doubt will correct me on that)

I could sit here and post DDOS messages but thats what there looking for, instead you will notice i delete every post that mentions DDOS? and usually they get bored.

Needless to say we are very well funded and i know one day that will slow down if not stop but either way we will still be around when most altis life servers have pulled the plug :)

 
Good to hear, and yeah didn't really think about the fact that trolls are hungry and must be fed.. so if we don't feed them they die in a hole. and theres obviously a problem with Arma3server.exe if it has to wait for one then the whole server must have to wait for that one. again #BohemiaNeedsToFixTheirShit

 
Dwarden will release a new "Perf Binary" soon. It is a optomized arma 3 server that we were running before this Arma 3 Update.
