Hello there, citizens of Altis!
The flight from rainy old England to this island in the sun was really pleasant, as I got to see all its beautiful features from a bird's eye view. I'm here for holidays, but if I can see myself living here after these two weeks, I might have found a new home. After my first day so far, it's a bit shady, though.
Right after wheels-down I rented a car and made for Athira, and, the UK law-abiding citizen that I am, I drove on the correct side of the road. Once I was rammed from behind and pushed off to the side into a boulder, then -- moving on on the right side as told by a friendly police officer -- I had the worst accident of my life and had a head-on collision with another offroad car. All of its passengers died, while I got away with minor scrapes. I feel so sorry for them and their families.
Of course I'm still looking forward to exploring Altis, its luxuries, and its market after this traumatising event.
