Holding a public event in game for Remembrance Day

Im not sure if im allowed to do this so if im not can an admin remove the thread. Now on to the event idea as I have family in the army I would like to somehow show my appreciation on the server as this is originally a military game I would like to hold a public event for anyone with a gun to attend. Im hoping that so many people join we could maybe stretch a fair way along the Kavala to Agios main road I am planning that at 12pm UK time on the 11th of November (planning early so I can get the word out) we all point the guns in the sky and fire to add a nice roleplay scenario to showcase on the forums.

The reasoning behind me not doing it at the official time of 11am is because I will be with my family sending our best wishes to all the soldiers currently fighting and to those that have been lost.

(I would like to ask that maybe the police turn a blind eye and play along with the roleplay as there will be a lot of illegal guns there. I can understand that it is roleplay to arrest people with an illegal firearm but I just thought for like 2 minutes it could be looked over and maybe the police join in so the whole community can be apart of the video)

It's a nice idea. And as much as I am for this kind of event. Maybe to keep with RP, all citizen who are not allowed to carry anything other than a pistol, only use a pistol?

 
I was thinking on a pistol but its not realistic like it would be in the march in London they have rifles if an admin approves it with the use of rifiles it would be better for YouTube, but if it can only be held with pistols thats still good to me :)  @carmont

I think I saw a video of last year's one if I'm not mistaken....

Perhaps lock the server for the event so that you don;t get any trolls - it is a very important day for some people.

 
Its a very important day for me as you can see above - I havent been around for a year yet so if they have held one before thats great to hear :D  @GP. Daanish

This is brilliant still watching the video currently but im happy it was the admins who participated and not just someone who put it together ok forget my idea then hopefully the admins have something planned :)  @GP. Daanish

 
I say we do that again but try and involve everyone  (as in all the gangs, police etc maybe even call a ceasefire for the whole day) and get this on a larger scale. Could require us having to double the slots on server 1 unless we organise it on all 3 servers. Don't exactly know what happened in the video as I don't have much data. (Sat in a bar after witnessing forest win against derby 1-0 I'll lwatch it when I get back) so I don't really know what went on last year plus I joined the community in February so.. I really hope I can attend this year. It would mean a lot to me too as I have had relatives fight in the navy during world war 2 (one who is 90 this weekend) so it would mean a lot to me if this could be absolutely flawless I really don't want RDMers and trolls ruining this important day for me and many other people in this community.
